One of the best ways to overcome stress is through positive affirmations. As a Christian, stress can hinder your walk with Christ. It brings doubt and causes a leak in your faith. It will prevent you from growing spiritually. By now you know doubt and fear are all a part of the enemy’s plan to keep God’s children bound. Stress will have you worrying day after day and week after week. It will provide no solution to your problems.
“Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest?” Luke 12:25-26
Friend, let me as you something when have worrying ever solved a problem for you? If you a laundry list of things to do, make a list and attack them one by one. If you’re lacking, pray with an expectation to receive from God. There is power in prayer when faith is involved. There is just an assurance when you pray by faith.
Why stress about things you have no control over? If you have control over it then come up with solutions to solve it. But don’t all it to consume your life. To stop you from living or disrupt your peace. If you trust God, allow Him to take care of you. Let Him fix whatever is broken. If you lack anything, let God make provision for you. And even if you don’t trust God, ask yourself this simple question. ‘Has worrying ever solve any of my problems?’ Worrying causes you to lose sleep at night. God promised you sweet rest at night (see affirmation 15). God can’t provide a solution to a mind filled with worrying and clutter. Your mind MUST be at peace in order for God to be able to speak to you. For God to give solutions to your problem, you must first believe He can do it.
